I own the violin concertos. All of Bach is good- I don't think you can confuse accessibility, or lack there of, with merit in a work. And with music, it is so often simply a confluence of a few notes that catch at you (or don't) that make you love or dislike a piece of music.

And when I said Art of the Fugue, I meant:

I've been playing that since my teens, and it still thrills me. I am a classically trained pianist. So my interest in Bach is probably influenced by that, as well as by my personal preference for a certain tone- which I couldn't define, but I know it when I hear it.
