believe Friedman has nailed this one correctly as well, painful as the realization is for me. Hawk, Do you understand better now why so many of us opposed the "rush to war"? We never ruled out military action, but we wanted a more comprehensive approach and a better post-war plan. We are now seeing the real damage from the hyped WMD proclamations that caused us to hurry in before we were ready.
