>Two new outposts set up in West Bank

By Nadav Shragai

Two new outposts have been built in the territories
over the last few days, reports from both Peace
Now and the settlers indicate.

Yitzhar residents have announced
the establishment of a new
outpost nearby the settlement,
in reaction to the dismantling
of Mitzpeh Yitzhar last week.
The new outpost, called Ariel
Hill, "in honor of the prime
minister, who has established
many outposts," plays home to
six young men. Yitzhar

residents intend to set up three more outposts

within the next few days.

In addition, Yitzhar residents again tried to
rebuilt Mitzpeh Yitzhar yesterday, but were
prevented from doing so by the Israel Defense
Forces.

Peace Now also reported a new outpost, west of
Revava in the West Bank. This outpost includes
a single, uninhabited trailer.

Since the meeting between Defense Minister Shaul
Mofaz and the Yesha Council two-and-a-half
weeks ago, Peace Now has reported the
establishment of nine new outposts. <<
