Would your limit count if MegaCorp initiates a suit against you, using 20 lawyers while you only hired two to defend yourself? If they win, you only have to pay for two of their lawyers? That doesn't seem quite right.

I think I prefer legislation requiring judges to sanction the lawyers (and prohibit indemnification by the client) for bringing and/or trying a frivolous case before the court... assuming they lose. If it's money that drives them to bring these actions, make 'em pay when they waste the courts time.
