Margarita was the first island we came to after leaving Trinadad.
It was a long sail and we were expecting a "sleepy little fishing
village" like the books said. We were surprised to see hi-rise
hotels and upscale restaurants. We had sit some submerged
thing on the way and were anxious to find out how much
damage there was to the hull. Very grateful to find a boat
yard that could haul out a 72' boat.
