Hi Antonio

I'm still around and still own my shares!!

I spoke to Mytec today and things sound to be on track.

I guess the article in Newsweek turned out to be just an article on people losing their identity with George Tomko basically just making a comment(July 14?). Mytec however will be featured in a Canadian Business article most likely in the second week of Sept. This article should be a substancial article on the company.

The Compaq deal should have an announcment by the end of this month.
They admit to being tight lipped about the deal because as put by them Compaq has slapped them on the hands for saying too much in the past.

Mytec has also recieved a request for proposal from the El Salvador government, to be submitted by Sept. 15, 1997, for the use of fingerprint Id system for their drivers licenses. They are going to bid this with another company which they would not reveal the identity.

Other things of note the Casinoworld project has come back to life, and the first half results are due next week. Metro has a meeting within the next couple of weeks to discuss Welfare, which they are very much in the running for, maybe Kwan can confirm this.

From what I heard the Counterforce part of the business is not in any distress as stated on this thread. In speaking with another dealer and to the company they seem to have regular meetings with dealers to listen to gripes and problems they are having. Mytec is tight lipped about whats going on in some projects but again I think a lot has to do with the companies they are dealing with.

I am not trying to cheerlead the stock with what I mentioned above but it seem we are all getting a little restless, myself included. If we don't hear anything by years end then I believe we have reason for concern. Until then I still believe in the company and its future.

Dennis Hollingshead is aware that the shareholders are looking to get together with management every two weeks.

Regards

Marco
