PLEASANTON, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 5, 1997--Netwave Technologies Inc., Tuesday announced reduced prices on its AirSurfer Wireless Local Area Network (LAN) system, providing portable PC users an unprecedented value for a high speed wireless network connection.

The AirSurfer PC Card, the market's first wireless LAN adapter with a fully integrated antenna design, will now sell for an estimated street price under $250, and the AirSurfer Access Point, a wireless to wired bridge, will have an estimated street price of $800.
Netwave has also announced that for a limited time during its "Go Wireless Today" campaign, customers can purchase AirSurfer Starter Kits, which include both an Access Point and a PC Card, for just $699 and limited to one kit per customer (offer available for the America's version only).
