I checked some of the IVA series of prefferred shares IVA.PR.E - Yield 8%, Price 23.25, A/Div 2.00, Qt/Div .50 IVA.PR.I - Yield 10%, Price 26.25, A/Div 2.62, Qt/Div .656 IVA.PR.H - Yield 7%, Price 31.60, A/Div 2.28, Qt/Div .72 Definetly good yields, the only thing I would be concerned with is the trading volume is very low, which suggests trading would be cyclical, increasing in volume just before their X/Div dates which might result in a person not being able to sell the shares after the X/Div date thereby tieing up cash for a whole quarter. But I'll research this series a little more to see what kind of history it has regarding volume
