interesting X. I think he has matured, and says
a lot of important things on his latest album.
But, it is easy for people to post some lyrics, and
say that's trash, etc., without really trying to hear
what he is saying.
Elvis was blamed for making kids misbehave, and there
were record burnings etc. He couldn't even shake his
hips on TV - it was censored. Seems silly today.
I think most kids are smart enough to listen, and take
away the message (while enjoying the music), but thats
just my opinion...
He sings about his life, and how he grew up around Detroit.
In the end - it rings true with a lot of people, and he
is spot on in some of his social commentary: White America, Cleaning out My Closet, etc. |
