well, if you caught my analysis on DDD, I make it pretty clear that I really know nothing about that stuff. With that in mind, yes, I think it would kill the refi market. And that would kill what is supposedly keeping the economy afloat at this time. The Fed can still keep pumping money into the system to keep the liquidity up, but I don't know if it will offset a rise in rates.

And this is how we can have a major selloff in bonds that coincides with a selloff in equities.

BTW: if I have the pattern right, it looks like a sell into the close.
