DAK or anyone, is there any way to penetrate options trading more than what shows up at the end of the day?

For example, a BT with important P3 results coming out sometime in the next few months showed 550 nov puts traded today (and appeared to be one transaction), but the OI went from 275 yesterday to 185 today! For that to work out, 320 had to be closed out (impossible) and 230 new ones issued. Theories, better info sources?
