Geac acquires the Shares of the AMS Group
MARKHAM, ONTARIO--Geac Computer Corporation Limited announced
today that to further enhance its Customer Service Operation in
Canada it has acquired the AMS Group out of Sudbury, Ontario.
The AMS Group is the premier computer services provider in
Northern Ontario with a distinguished client base of over 2,000
customers and annual revenues of approximately $8.5 million CDN .
AMS provides sales & service of several manufacturers' products,
networking and connectivity solutions, CAD services and a wide
selection of computer training and education courses .
In addition, the Geac Customer Service Division will use the new
acquisition to increase its activities and product distribution
in Northern Ontario.
