Yes the freezer (not just refrigerator) issue is indeed a hassle. But it looks like they will try hard to sell it at the large pharmacy chains.

revenue lost from Claritin going generic

Actually I believe that pharmacies have a higher profit margin on generics than brand name drugs. Not sure about OTC - of course there they save the pharmacy costs, though, so maybe they do better there too on these expensive OTC products.
