X,

Re: I'm not sure Bush knows his policies have their genesis in Mr. Norquist's plan. Perhaps it's merely coincidence.
Why would you think that? As far as I can tell, the "aw shucks, let's go kick some Iraqi behind" rhetoric is totally scripted and not at all the real Bush. I fear Bush as a totally slick politician who can get liberals and moderates to lower their guard by considering him a dufus. I think this is a serious deficiency in the thinking of many on the Left who lose the ability to fight Bush because they don't understand his appeal to the masses. Here's a good article on Bush's use of "emotional language":

************* Re: I don't think Bush is taking orders from Osama, either, even though Bush is pursuing a course of action that would seem to dovetail quite neatly with exactly what Osama would want. Unfortunate coincidences.
Again, we'll disagree. As far as I can tell, both Osama and Dubya have been hired by the same cabal. Identified as the people who are making the greatest profits out of the "war on terrorism". That would include the militarists, Halliburton, Bechtel and the War Party. Osama couldn't have been created any better by Hollywood than he has been by the likes of the Office of Global Information, Hill & Knowlton, John Rendon & Associates and all the other propagandists who've convinced the American public to fearfully fall in line behind the emotional leader, Dubya.
Coincidence? Maybe, but some of us are absolutely convinced there is very little that emanates from the DoD and the White House that is coincidental. Even the tapes of Osama, or especially the tapes of Osama.
