The Militant Muslim faction in the UK was severely damaged after Afghanistan was invaded. Their constant strutting and rhetoric was getting to be tiresome before then. We were always hearing how tough and good they all were. Now we just get to hear the bleating and whining about Guantanamo Bay.

Iraq is a potential problem where the initiative can be lost to the other side once again. A sustained guerrilla war will lose the confidence of the public even in the USA.

That is why I am hoping that the USA maximises it's chances in using this temporary military advantage to settle the Israel/Palistine issue. Of course some very big bombs have to be pointed at some of the players to ensure the playing field stays level in negotiations -g-
