Let's try this.
In a matter of a few weeks, CA went from "no problem" to BLACKOUT! And that just happened to coincide with the removal of price caps statewide.
Proof of conspiracy and collusion? No. Very, very suggestive, though. The only times I've seen behaviour like that, it has been the result of anti-competitive collusion.
Greyout Davis? As I said before, he had no business blowing the state's surplus to ensure his own reelection. If he's half as stupid as you yourself have described him, he should be removed to protect the state.
Had Davis kept the state out of it, electricity and NG prices would have skyrocketed, yeah. And the people and companies would have raised royal h**l and pressured the state and national gov'ts for investigations and actions. They may very well have contributed to campaigns in other states to get a more sympathetic Congress. And they would have CONSERVED- -not just listened to reelection spiels by Davis disguised as conservation exhortations.
As a result of Davis's stupidity, which you have admitted to, the state surplus is gone, the state budget is $38B in the hole (a fact Davis lied about during his reelection campaign), and vital services such as police and fire are on chopping block everywhere in the state.
If you know anything about Davis, as you claim to, you know it is not just Republicans that have complained that he does nothing except for cold hard cash. Members of his own party have made the same accusation.
And you made charges against Bush and Cheney. I challenged you to prove them. You have grossly failed at that. |
