John, let's look at those two statements side by side again. 1) while adding that he personally has "nothing against homosexuals." 2) "Let me be clear that I have nothing against homosexuals, or any other group, promoting their agenda through normal democratic means." You stated in your response that "It keeps the exact meaning." John, if you had put the above on a test for your students, you would have marked your answer, "wrong." If you believe that, you missed your calling. Go get an editors job at the NYT. Would you please detail to me how you can pull the first part of that sentence out and claim "It keeps the exact meaning?"
