How to create a human legal system is the issue that matters. How to move from the constant warring, conflict and confrontation of the olde European system of shifting alliances in little fiefdoms.

I'm open to recommendations, as I believe all rational international leaders would be.

But creating and implementing any such VIABLE recommendations, that are keeping with reality, seem to be something the liberals have yet to produce.

Winning wars is easy. Any idiot can smash people and things. Just push the red button. It's building things and making civil society which is the hard part.

Sometimes winning is easy, but I would agree that "nation building" is not something that can be externally imposed. It is like a tree which, if properly maintained and nurtured, will eventually grow and last. But if neglected, or ignored, will eventually become infested with parasites and disease, all of which will sustain themselves on the crippled or dying host.

The USA should now establish a UN Conference for Reconstitution - in Iraq, where they can see for themselves the consequences of political and civil failure

I have no problem with this recommendation.
