No occupation of conquered territories is allowed according to the Geneva Convention.

Oh?!! Doesn't that depend on who is considered the aggressor? If someone aggresses against your nation and you wind up winning the war, the defending nation generally is able to ask for territorial concessions to enhance future protection of their nation. In this case it was CLEARLY JORDAN who aggressed against Israel in 1967, and it has been Israel which has maintained its control over the territories in order to preserve their security.

Now let met tell you a little story Raymond.

Back in the early part of 1900s, there was this group of people who were kicked out of their own country and given the opportunity to settle down and occupy this sizeable chunk of ground which was already inhabited.

The British thought they might be useful for governing that portion of land, and felt a bit of obligation to these people for past wrongs and betrayals perpetrated against them.

And you know something??... the indigenous people of that country were absorbed by the new government of foreigners and never permitted an opportunity for self-determination, despite the fact that the foreigners remain a distinct ruling minority.

Yet the world never seemed to complain about it... And they don't bother to complain about it even today...

Do you know who those dispossesed people are Raymond?? The people whom you have forgotten and feel little sympathy for??

Do you know what country I'm referring to??

Take a guess...
