Greenspan made me do it! I'm fresh back a trip to the car dealer, where I impulsively bought a brand new Subaru Outback. And thanks to the wonders of hedonics, I got a lot more car for the same amount of money compared to six years ago. It was fun to watch the salesman's face when I declined the 2-year 0-percent financing, and opted to pay the balance from my money market account. So I explained the danger of "breaking the buck" to him. See ya later. I've gotta go spend some more money before it vaporizes. -Snow
