The last section of Scalia's opinion was textbook Scalia, confrontational and mean spirited.

Scalia gets paid to form opinions. His job description does not limit him to kind and gentle opinions.
Lateley everyone who does not agree with you is mean-spirited and confrontational in your opinion.

Your perspective of Scalia is absurd to contemplate...even as you write some of the most scathing and confrontational posts on SI.
