They are not 'past "wrongs"' Hawk, they are wrongs being committed each and every day - right now at the very moment you are reading this line, Guantánamo is being occupied by a foreign military, and cubanos are being denied freedom of expression by their dictator .... these are current affairs, and there is no reason to put quote marks on 'wrong' either, both crimes against humanity are quite plainly wrong, pure and simple .... and one aids the other, by the way - Castro would lose a pillar of his david standing up to goliath routine if the US would smarten up on this

'Which do you prefer marcos??' - huh?? ... what are you asking me, like would i rather be eaten to death by fire ants or driven over by tanks? ... can't i have a third choice, maybe something not quite so negative, what kind of genie are you anyway

They are all the same, those people ... see this to CB - #reply-19070859 - i will not jump into either of the two (2) little boxes presented by these two (2) 'sides', and not only because it looks like nobody swept the floors for eons, and they're too crowded already

'propose instead a list of future "rights"'

Why quote marks around rights? ... go uppercase, bold them, shout them, ain't nothing tentative about rights

And i have for years been proposing a list specifically for cubanos - a short one, a single right to start, the right to freedom of expression, as evidenced by their presence here with us on this internet .... you may have missed this, but i've also been saying since arriving on the net, and before that in real life for at least two decades, that we should invade Cuba, in a well-mannered and amiable sort of way, as individuals armed with a passport, toothbrush, and a few ideas, no more ... in every bit of people to people contact we will be spreading those ideas, and who knows, we may learn a thing or two along the way from cubanos
