Candidate websites are most effective in national campaigns.

What I have been watching is for new uses of the Net. "Meetup.com" is very interesting. meetup.com Dean has been very effective with this, with 42,600 members. Kerry is now trying it, with 2400 members.

Go there and pull up your zip code and you may be amazed by the number of meetings in your area. For instance, Honolulu has 72 meetings scheduled on different subjects. With pictures of the people who went to the last meeting. If you are an expert on the left hind leg of a flea, and want to talk to the others in your area who are fascinated by this subject, it is the perfect way to do so.

The Blogs have not turned out to be a way to campaign yet. We will see if anyone can get innovative with them.
