This has to be one of the biggest run-ups I've seen for cwei. But, since I'm the ultimately known as a pessimist, can a 10Q be enough to cause such momentum or are there other things to consider here? I know the price of oil is up, but Iraq is also being allowed to release some of theirs onto the market (I believe today) so I would think that would have a negative impact. Also there are still 3 hold ratings according to zacks: one we can account for in Paul Ferretti/anb-amro formerly of rodman renshaw. The other 2 are Morgan Keeg and PaineWebber who, according to Lujuanda H. of investor relations, have holds due to some extreme downs in 1994/95. Geez, talk about holding a grudge.

I can't wait for the Hanifen report also, Lujuanda was kind enough to forward me a copy that should arrive soon. I'll pass along anything pertinent.
