It seems there is no lack of articles commenting on the doom and gloom associated with the housing bubble, borrowing against home equity or to the lengths people will go to buy bigger and better things placing them in the position of carrying impossible debt. But I do find it interesting that financial editors give this type of opinion to consumers without going on to write articles for people that have succeeded in paying down all of their debt.

I would post them myself, but I don't know if they exist or where........anyone?

Regardless..........thanks for posting the article.

If you can visualize what's coming, making money by investing should be "easy." Every day should be Financial Independence Day! The best return on investment for the average American remains paying down debt. We consider this advice "golden," and even the cloud of a falling currency can have a "silver lining."
