economists dont understand the wisdom of Fed's End Game
that is because it puts the economy at the road's end
lower rates will slow the economy further

CNN did a nice brief piece with Kathleen Hayes on how the low rate environment is hurting pensioners and retired savers
they dont have enough income to continue supporting their retirement

in 2001 we had $600 billion in interest payments
it slows the economy when overcapacity results in less capex

economists will someday figure it out
in a post-mortem analysis
