Stock, Hitler got in on free elections, then leveraged his small win into a big one with violence and repression of opposition. Then he really got going. I don't see why Islamic Jihadis should be allowed any power, even if they can get a simple majority in a single election. Nor should they be allowed to live - they have declared war on infidels so give them war. If we don't get them, they'll get us, which is their stated aim. They aren't kidding. As they have shown with murderous mayhem all over the place. The USA has finally figured out that USSR and Russia are not as serious a threat as the Mujahadeen Islamic Jihadis, despite nukes galore in Russia. It took them long enough to figure out that one. They thought Gorby was the bad guy. Giggle. Talk about hoist by their own petard. Because they are religious cranks, they thought they had more in common with other religious cranks, [Islamic Jihadis] than atheistic commie Russkies. Silly billies. Now they know. Or should do. The USA has many Big Brother attributes, which are straight out of 1984 - better even than amateurish if violent and repressive USSR methods. Mqurice
