The 10Q does not contain anything that would cause this run-up--oil is down for the day---I have emailed Lajuanda, asking if any of the analysts have changed their recommendation--she already said she would send me a copy of the Hanifen's report--the release of the Hanifen report would be the only thing to explain this run-up---it must be one heck of a glowing report. Stock scans may be accounting for some of this latest rise--and the roadshow probably got it moving initially. Recently Morgan Keegan was going to begin following CWEI much closer; Paul Feretti of ABN AMRO Chicago was going to re-examine CWEI towards the end of the third quarter. Paine Webber and Morgan Keegan were part of the original IPO back in 93--CWEI came onto the market at 17 and went down from there.
