You owe me an apology. You can do it out front here or you can do it in a PM.

As for Dowd and the NYTimes, as I've typed before, the Times is like a few other great newspapers, they carry a commitment to get the story right. They will admit to not doing so and doing something about it. As opposed to political tabloids like the Washington Times.

My guess is Dowd will be with us for some time. If you track her work back over the last decade you will see that she writes this sort of stuff about whomsoever is in power.

Moreover, the complaints must be music to her ears. They are evidence of her influence. If she had none, no one would bother.
