Hi Noise,
Frankly, I have never found very much impartial research in Merrill Lynch's notes over the years. As we all know, they were one of the large Wall Street firms that had to pay significant fines for their less-than-forthright actions of the past. And, who could forget Merrill Lynch's most infamous analyst Henry Blodget, who was accused of touting stocks on TV and then turning around and sending E-Mail messages to his friends and associates saying that these very same company's were nothing more than trash!

With respect to the "eBay/CKFR connection", as I indicated, the new auction payments service appears to be a very tightly integrated and convenient auction payment option that CheckFree has developed, and may have a great deal of appeal to both buyers and sellers alike.

In my opinion, eBay buyers and sellers will find the cost savings, convenience and CheckFree's 100% guarantee a very appealing alternative to PayPal. Now that there is another real choice available, it will be very interesting to see how many times that little red "click to pay with >> CheckFree" logo button will be seen in the future.
