The decision to close down and write off hundreds of millions of dollars of assets wont be taken lightly. I think it will come in stages as businesses throw in the towel. There is always hope that things will turn around and that if you sacrifice your weakest units less supply will help increase prices.

There is always hope that if enough of your competitors shut down the price of NG will go down and the product price will go up.

There are still many who think WTI will sell for $20 soon. #2 oil prices would then be ?$0.50 gallon at $3.50 MBTU.
