The argument that it was "unnecessary" is utterly stupid. There certainly was no way to remove Saddam without some number of American deaths, and 200 is a remarkably low figure. It was necessary in '98 and it wasn't done. It was necessary now, and a strong, brilliant president handled it.

Fewer civilians died during the war than were dying monthly as a result of Saddam's dictatorship. So your argument is TOTALLY WITHOUT MERIT.

We were already the most disliked nation on earth. But why does it matter? One of the reasons the public LOVES George Bush is that he puts the United States first rather than selling us out to every other damned foreign country, the way the last president did.

and, last and certainly not least, becoming even hated by the very people YOU purported to "liberate".

MOST Iraqis today WANT the United States to stay in Iraq, and MOST APPRECIATE the United States liberating them. Only idiots who assume that CNN and the other networks are feeding them the truth don't understand this.
