A great point. Fortunately for those of us that live outside the Bible belt, it is mostly a regional issue. In California, we are truly free to pursue the religion of our choice.

I know someone who is Canadian. Her company transfered her to Austin. People at work were very friendly, until one day a co-worker asked her which church she went to. When she replied "none", she got a cold stare. For a number of weeks after that, *none* of her coworkers would speak to her outside of official business. One day, a coworker confessed that they had been discussing her at their Bible studies, and finally come to the conclusion that she was not an evil person. So, they started talking to her again.

Yes, people are really that narrow minded.
