I thought the savings rate in the US was too low as it is, compared to other countries. They already tax the earnings on your savings, meager as it is in todays market. Now they want to take the principal too? What a hair brained proposal! It would make the Militia kooks go bonkers. Can you say REVOLUTION? Tea party time.
