Matt, the current rally is nothing more than the selling of the "win" in Iraq to the public, some tax cuts and FED stimulus, none of which are going to be able to sustain the price level of the markets going forward.
Perfection is what we are priced at now.
Improving economy in the 2nd half?
They have been saying that since the week after 9-11.
It just isn't there.
More MCJ's--McJob's (low-paying and dead-end work) won't turn the corner for this economy

But MASS PSYCHOLOGY is at work now.
We can go higher of course, that is the game.

As I have said, the wild card is another 9-11 type event.

No we have the opening shot in the "war on the flu"
I am telling you, they will break us money wise with all of this bs that we supposedly need protection from,
same as Reagan busted the Soviet Union in the arms race...
We, as Americans just don't need to always be at war, and I don't mean just shooting war, all the other crap they have packaged to make us feel guilty about stepping back and enjoying the fruits of our labor..

That said, I am going to SummerFest....

Oh yeah, the Cigar craze was another that collapsed on itself..
