Ah, selective quoting. Perhaps even misquoting. Need to see the context of the sentences, assuming the quote is correct.

I don't know why you have such difficulty accepting the fact that there is a racial gap in colleges on grades between black and white. It is so well established that you don't find much about it on line. You find it consistently all the way through school at all grade levels, and it does not change. I published several articles on it from "Education Next" recently.

When you take college bound kids and put them into a college that is above their past achievement level, you can't expect them to keep up. They become bitter when they don't do as well, and the it reinforces the other kids prejudices. Acceptance of this fact is the first step to doing something about it. Staying in denial, as you do, just makes sure it is never solved.
