Frank,
I never said the book and the article were not credible.
(His belief in Iraq's WMD's was apparently inaccurate as current results portend.) It's just I don't like what he
emphasizes. I dislike the way he emphasized the risk of Iraq and WMD and diminished the 3 possible outcomes. When advised to invade an occupy Iraq the definition of success was not enunciated as the 3 Outcomes explained by Pollack in FA. It was promoted as RemoveWMD/regime change.

I think Pollack spent too much time on the risk and not enough time on the results with which we would be faced.d. I was influenced by his thinking that Iraq was such a danger. In fairness to him he did not say imminent.

His appearances on TV and in FA seem to have a vested interest in making the invasion and occupation the right thing to do. His book becomes less valuable as the search for WMD and the Neocon Foreign Policy unravels. I think he should have sepnt more time reinforcing the outcomes when he got a chance to influence the public.

This is why I no longer have respect for Pollack. It's not his information I questioned it is his current motives. I think he just wants to be a hired gun pundit now. His reputation depends on ameliorating the gap between the weapons of mass destruction and the current situation.

I don't really think we disagree much on his content. I am questioning current motives. Maybe he shoud admit to some factual errors.I'm always looking for giants.

When you stack the information made available to the general public by contrasting Pollack and Ritter what do you get?
