Skeeter, W-CDMA is as much CDMA as CDMA2000 is CDMA. QUALCOMM collects the same % royalty off both [more from W-CDMA because the devices are more expensive] and sells ASICs for both. W-CDMA is very good for QUALCOMM. It's difficult to do, which means the talented people at QUALCOMM have an advantage. Mqurice
