here's an article that has US CDMA flat at 43-44% and gsm (eg, my t-mobile service) tripling its market share from 11% to 33% by 2007 Ok, that's silly. Why not compare 1X growth with AWE? Equally silly. GSM is growing in the Americas, but primarily since the TDMA networks seemed to preferentially move to GSM. (That poses an interesting question.) Clark
