Clearly The Problems In The Economy Preceded Bush

The major problem is that neither as a candidate, nor even today, does Busch fully recognize, acknowledge, nor attempt to bring any real leadership to bear on the issue.

This country is in deep economic doo doo. Far worse than we have ever experienced before. And not one "leader" has ever truly reconciled them or the country to that fact.

With the terrorist attack on the WTC Bush recognized that he had a major crisis, and attempted to respond. The Economic condition is a far greater threat to the security of the US than terrorists. But the response has been little more than finger pointing.
