Well, what if FDR had build up the
military in the 1930's and had taken
out Hitler early?

And, what if (as commander in chief)
he didn't allow the pacific fleet to
get destroyed in a single attack
during December 1941?

Perhaps we wouldn't have had to run
record deficits (as a % of GDP) in
the 1940's to extricate ourselves
from this mess!

P.S. Are you now admitting that the true
"record" deficits actually did happen
during WW2 (and not under Reagan or Bush)?
