I believe there is a danger of deflation, but only a small one. The real danger is a continued malaise that results in no or low job growth. The key is business confidence, which is linked to confidence in world stability. So, it's all linked back to the world situation, which must dramatically improve before we're out of the wood.

I'm not a fan of Gephardt; another career politician.
