<I never remember a time when everything an admin said was held in such contempt.>
Another American displaying his near-total ignorance of history.
1970s, when a President resigned, back when we punished our leaders for lying.
The second half of Carter's Presidency, when everyone, even his own party, routinely called him an ineffectual dreamer.
The Hoover Presidency, when he was blamed for the Depression, and not doing anything about it. Hoovervilles.
1932-1939, when the President was routinely called a socialist, a closet Jew, a destroyer of capitalism, and a wrecker of the Constitution (when he packed the Supreme Court, to stop them from ruling the New Deal unconstitutional).
And that's just the 20th Century. Go back and read what was said about the President, when he got us into a losing war with Britain, some stupid pissing contest over kidnapped sailors, and the Brits burned down our new capital city.
Criticizing our Presidents, questioning their motives, calling them liars, exposing their frauds, it's The American Way, as American as apple pie and handguns, and has been for 200+ years.
<I cant imagine you ever voting for a republican, ever.>
I'd vote for the current Secretary of State, for President, in preference to any of the Democrats currently running. I forgive him for being a Team Player, and lying to the UN. His heart is in the right place.
