Please Neo. This simply will not do. Curing a genetic defect by no means alters the fundamental structure and definition of man. The mere fact you’ve described the defect as a "defect" implies you intuitively understand the fundamental human definition and perhaps that you wish to help those who may cease to be thusly defined to maintain the definition. Curing defects is merely analogous to helping a drowning man. It is not the conversion of a man into a cabbage.
