Dean, Kerry and Gephardt are tied right now in Iowa. There's a margin or error so 2% doesn't make any difference.

Kerry will surge as well but this is Dean's week to surge. It goes back and forth a lot. If it's Kerry-Dean race, then Kerry wins. Dems are NOT going to send the more liberal guy against Bush, not when John Kerry is available. Sorry.

Remember Dean just got a boost from the most left wing of the Dem party. That was expected. But 76% of Deanies are enthusiastic about Kerry as well. And they're realistic too. Everyone agrees the #1 goal is to knock off Bush. So Kerry is the right man.

Also remember the more moderate Dem voters are now split five ways. Once Edwards, Lieberman and Graham fall out, Kerry will get the vast majority of those voters and delegates. No doubt Dean has taken the left wing by storm, but the left wing wont niminate nor win the general election.
