Eric, I looked hard & long for article I came across a few weeks ago, but could not find. I had come across it via one of the many electronic newsletters that fill my mailbox @ yahoo everyday. Nevertheless I did a "google" & came across several articles such as this one, 3gnewsroom.com, , though its a couple years old, that substantiates the underlying premise of the inter-operability goals of VZ-W.

Best I could do, but supports the hypothesis I have put forth, to lend credence, if one chooses, to what I heard two consultants state a few weeks about a new cell design @ LAX .
