Well, I have long seen the futility of the discussion for your benefit, Neo. Not to be rude, but I wasn’t exactly laboring here for this purpose. I have read you enough on this issue to see precisely why you cannot discern the importance of your own fundamental human identity. Identity is just lost to you and so that which is outside of your identity is acceptable. But the interesting thing about speaking with you on the issue is that, unlike many people on the issue, you still have some intuitive sense about what you are in nature. That is why you accept homosexuality, but only at arms length. (grin)
But the hilarity of it is that you have no logical basis at all to forbid such things as the social affirmation of bestiality. Of course you will still forbid it by saying such things as “it is obviously absurd.” It is only “obvious” because the objects engaged in the behavior are clearly outside of the fundamental identity that makes you what you are in nature. But you are unaware of even this, and your confusion with homosexuality and polygamy is the result.
Unlike with bestiality, with homosexuality and polygamy the objects involved are all human, and so you cannot make the connection that despite this the objects must still combine in a specific way such that the combination themselves become members of the human set. You cannot see that the very combination of the humans, becomes yet another logical object. Failing here, you accept any combination, however foreign it is to the set.
You claim the heterogeneous nature of man is “nothing” when the very absence of that nature <by definition means a human cannot exist. Does that serve as a clue to you of the significance of your nature? Hehe, of course not. Like very much of our society, you simply keep feeling uncomfortable and not knowing why, assume it is because of mere cultural conditioning. It just does not occur to you that the problem lies in your very cellular structure. Indeed, you simply claim the definition that lies in your structure is “nothing.”
It is this intentional self ignorance that allows for the affirmation of homosexuality, though homosexuality is objectively not reflected in your own nature. (Ditto polygamy and other attempted perversions of humanity). What is worse, because of self ignorance, society feels it appropriate to force all its members to affirm perversion. That is really the major crime here because no one has the natural right to force anyone to affirm that which does not fundamentally share in one’s identity.
Friend. You need not inform me of any eureka experiences. But without any doubt at all, you need to think deeper on this issue for yourself. |
