I agree, looks-wise Kerry and Bush are a wash, though different. But Kerry is six inches taller, still performs macho daredevil sports like aerobatics, is the real thing when it comes to macho action (not just words) and is a whole lot smarter than GW as well. Mano a mano, Kerry wins hands-down as a mental and physical man. And Kerry is even older than Bush. The last thing Bush wants is to climb into the debate ring with Kerry. Gore was a much easier foe. PS - I disagree that Kerry doesn't do it for women. I've seen enough gushing over him to know. Clinton also had that effect in a different way. Bush really doesn't. He's more of a guy's guy. But not a "real man" like Kerry in terms of real bravery in his life.
