Hey listen, the Iraqi people may not be doing any better than they were under Saddam for a long-long time. Bushies have no government to replace Saddam with. Who knows if we can even keep the utilities going. And what about feeding all those millions, educating them, giving them health care, etc? And what abot keeping the Shiites from taking control and creating an Islamic state right next to Iran.

We have been based around Iraq for a long time. We have bombed him thousands of times. And we could have stayed there for a long time without invading and kept him in a box.

Personally, I was for a covert assasination attempt. Anyone can be killed after all.

All I know is I never feared Saddam Hussein. I always thought he was a paper tiger. And the Iraqi people were used to him. Now they are freaking out. What is next? Who knows? What can we guarantee them when we can't even keep our own states from insolvency?

Frankly, I dont think anyone at the White House knows what the hell to do with Iraq now, except to try and find Saddam and pump oil. And as for Iran, that's another immense complex headache in the making.

Sometimes the smartest move is no move. After all, it wasn't as though Saddam attacked us.

I have my own theories about why the war was really waged, mainly having to do with oil, but then again I admit I dont understand the neocon mindset. It is shrouded in secrecy. So Americans just dont know what our leaders are thinking. All they know is what they hear in the sound bites, which is often the opposite of what is really happening.
