I also trade fast moves. For example 40% in a week is usually not sustainable so I'll sell of the 50%, then buy back lower. Each stock has a pattern and rythm that helps you judge what's sustainable or not.

I usually buy in over 4 to 6 purchases increasing as the price goes down, decreasing as the price increases. If a good stock dips below my orignal purchase by 25%, I'll buy at least twice as much. Money management is the key.

AXC is a "bouncer" look at the ratio of weekly average volume to total float. The higher this number the more bounce.

Compair AXC to PPD. An unrelated stock with the same behavior. Great stock with a 100% dip. They coil up like a spring.
